These works include electronic installations, collaborations with performers, video and audio work, generative and software based artworks, VR environments and data visualisations/ecologies. Interdisciplinary and collaborative practice informs the development and ultimately the design of these artworks.
data mapping generative software installation Sydney Fri, 23 Jul 2010 03:09:52 +0000 bunka 571 at http://faces-l.net Chie Yamayoshi http://faces-l.net/F/node/357
My videos and films often interrogate the viewer's desire to ascribe Japanese femininity to my work, an imperative of Western culture wherein the "artist-as-other" must reference identity politics as a primary footnote to their work.

::::::

read more
experimantal film installation Sydney video Thu, 02 Apr 2009 02:25:51 +0000 Chie 357 at http://faces-l.net Deej Fabyc http://faces-l.net/F/node/225
I am interested in the geographies of surveillance and the body.
